Hello everyone. My name is Edwin and I'm on of those "cool" "young adults" that live in Los Angeles. My tumblr is mostly my pictures and drawings. Hope you enjoy it.
Yesterday was my 20th birthday. Nothing has really changed.
To be honest when I went to bed the night before my birthday I expected to wake up a everything would be different. I would be sporting a neatly kept beard, I would be half an inch taller and when I put my pants up you’d see my ankles, and my hair would just naturally be slicked to the side. But alas, none of that happened. I woke up and my pokemon plushies where still on my book shelf, my fake mustache was still a fake, my wallet was still empty and my room was still messy.
I think now that I am not a teenager the only real difference is that my siblings will now shout at me “YOU”RE TWENTY NOW!” instead of “YOU”RE ALMOST TWENTY YEARS OLD EDWIN!” when they lovingly lecture me about responability and family-blah-blah.
Well that, and people will think of me differently when they talk about me…
Girl: Do you know Edwin?
Guy: Who’s Edwin?
Girl: He’s twenty.
Guy: Nope don’t know him. But I bet he has a beard and no stuffed pokemon plushies.
Girl: Yeah… I bet that too.
Both: *swoon*
Then they’d meet me and say, “Oh you shaved. WHY YOU”RE TWENTY!?”
But anyway, happy birthday to me. :)
Sorry, now I have to go wash my clothes and pay my phone bill.
Grr. I’m twenty.
